Background
First application of Erosion Control Blanket and Protective Net for hauling road development of Lumut Balai Unit 2 Geothermal Plant.
After massive cut and fill works in hauling road development, cut and fill slope shall be protected from surface erosion issue.
In addition, some high slopes shall be stabilised with soil nailing.
Challenge
Erosion Control Blanket has to be installed on slope with the height up to 50m.
Solution
ReCo and FTT work together to provide combination solution soil nail and ArmaMat Eco (combination of TerraGreen and Rectangular Net) to stabilise the slopes and yet provide green facing.
In this project, we are awarded for 2,525 m2 of ArmaMat Eco, 20,890 m2 of TerraGreen and 23,415 m2 of Hydroseeding works.
